Teaching About Antisemitism After the Holocaust

Echoes & Reflections has just released an updated teaching unit on the vital topic of contemporary antisemitism, to aid teachers in providing awareness to their students that antisemitism did not end after the Holocaust, and to empower their students to recognize and take action against this hate in its contemporary forms.

In the revised Unit, students investigate the ways in which old ideas about Jews and Judaism have given rise to new expressions of antisemitism and are introduced to individuals who refuse to be bystanders to bigotry, through a series of four lesson plans.

Teaching About Antisemitism After the Holocaust

November 4 - December 2

Learn how to increase students’ understanding of the Jewish people and the impact antisemitism has had on the community through its continued evolution and persistence post-Holocaust, as well as how to equip youth to respond to and prevent antisemitism in our world today. This course offers educators an in-depth look at the revised Unit and the impact that rising antisemitism is having on students and school culture.
